Composed of a mixed group of beginners and more skillful performers, the artists behind Swansea Ukulele Club have earned their growing reputation as a talented group to look out for. Behind the Music

Swansea Ukulele Club was formed by Richard Gent in 2011 and soon grew into a popular once a week session for like minded ukulele players. Social Media membership ran into the several hundreds at one time but is now restricted to attending members only. Declining numbers saw a restructure of the group and a new home and following a second restructure in 2018 members are now served by a working party of two who arrange bookings and carry out all the tasks associated with running a ukulele group . Today the club is thriving again and attracting new members on a regular basis.

Members currently meet at The Dunvant RFC, Swansea at 7.15pm every Tuesday night for an informal acoustic singalong session.

Come along on a Tuesday to The Dunvant Rugby Club where you will be made most welcome to join in with us.
